Ms Debbie hails from Scotland but has lived in Hungary since 1992. She is married to András and has a bilingual daughter, Anna-Morag. Between the ages of one and three Anna-Morag and her Mum had great fun attending a weekly Hungarian singing group which had a very positive impact on Anna-Morag’s language development. Debbie’s educational experience includes teaching History and English as an Additional Language at a local international school. She has just completed a course on teaching English to young learners. She volunteers to teach Scottish dances at charity events where her motto is “participation, not perfection” so everyone can join in regardless of their level. She loves telling stories too, doing craft work and singing with young children at the Scottish church in Budapest.
